Nappies and sanitary towels

The product must not contain any fragrances, dyes, rosin or substances generally causing sensitisation or irritation. No generally sensitising or irritant adhesives (such as acrylates), filler materials, intermediate layers or plastic membranes may have been used in the manufacture of the product. Substance content levels must also be declared. The applicant is also required to provide results from tests of the product in use, formaldehyde content level data, details of bacteria survey tests and the names of any antibacterial agents used.
